Wendolyn Bouie Society

Wendolyn Bouie Society

During its 25th Anniversary, Atlanta based Africa’s Children’s Fund has approved and launched a new society of leadership givers to be in the very special group called The Wendolyn Bouie Society. This philanthropic group is named in honor of Dr. Wendolyn Bouie, a community champion, and an award-winning educator and author with over three decades of experience as a teacher and administrator in public schools, private schools, and higher education institutions.

The Wendolyn Bouie Society group of special contributors are diverse in age, occupation and income. However, what they have in common is that they are united around the importance of being active in their communities and generous with their time, talents and resources.

The Wendolyn Bouie Society shall recognize leadership donors who give Africa’s Children’s Fund $2500 or more each year. These members shall play a critical role in community focused philanthropy.

The Wendolyn Bouie Society leadership level donors are of various nationalities from business, academia and community all working together. They are philanthropic leaders and volunteer champions who have devoted their time, talent, and funds to provide assistance and services to children and families in need in the United States, Africa and the Caribbean to improve the quality of their lives.
